Grianan Consulting’s Deirdre Hynes has extensive experience delivering quality Enterprise Excellence training and coaching. From working with small teams in local businesses to overseeing global Enterprise Excellence training at a multinational manufacturing firm, Deirdre understands how to connect with her students and equip them with the skills they need for success.

Who do we Train and Coach?
Grianan Consulting works with teams at every level of project implementation, including Senior Management teams, Site Directors, Business Lead teams, Master Tradespeople, Engineers, Process Operators and Technicians, and Implementation teams; anyone who might be impacted by a new

Enterprise Excellence process.

We also deliver training and coaching for all levels of experience, from those totally new to Enterprise Excellence to Six Sigma Master Blackbelts.

What qualifications and experience do we draw on?
In addition to extensive experience in industry training teams from beginner to Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Deirdre Hynes of Grianan Consulting has developed and delivered content for the University of Limerick’s Masters in Lean Six Sigma. Deirdre is one of only a handful of consultants in Europe certified by the Institute for Operational Excellence as a Value Stream Design Trainer and Coach and is also a Lean Six Sigma Master Black belt, a certified Lean Kaizen Event Leader and a Leadership Strategies certified Effective Facilitator.

What subjects do we cover?
Grianan Consulting covers all Enterprise Excellence topics and levels, including A3 Problem Solving, DMAIC, and all belt levels from yellow through to Master Blackbelt level.

What do our Training Programmes involve?
At Grianan Consulting, we aim to deliver focused and relevant content, specifically targeting our customer’s unique requirements.

We will work with you to develop a course curriculum that suits your training needs. Some of our clients are clear on exactly which tools and processes they require training on, whereas others require our support in identifying their training needs.

We have also developed and delivered training modules for businesses on their own existing in-house Enterprise Excellence systems.

The duration of each course will depend on the extent of content to be covered. 

Training courses can be delivered both online and on-site.

What do our Coaching Programmes involve?
Grianan Consulting offers Enterprise Excellence coaching to individuals and smaller groups. This service is typically provided when teams are faced with a challenging new project and experience within the team is limited.

In these situations, Grianan Consulting will work with a small group of 4-5 key individuals: training them, answering questions, helping them to put a plan in place and find solutions to any issues that arise, and supporting them through to project completion. This ensures that the participating individuals gain an in-depth understanding and full ownership of their new systems and are empowered with the skills and confidence to run and optimise it, address any challenges that may come up, and adapt/ scale as required in the future.

Deirdre’s coaching has helped many individuals to challenge their perceived personal barriers, identify their key skills and abilities, and set and reach ambitious goals.

Coaching programmes are tailored to client needs. They may be delivered onsite, remotely or as a hybrid. The duration of each coaching programme is dependent on the complexity and nature of project in question.
